Leprechauns

Leprechauns are considered fairies.  The unusual thing about leprechauns are that they are typically portrayed as male small in stature without wings and dressed mostly in green according to the Irish tradition.  According to Irish lore, leprechauns have been known to have a treasure of some sort hiding in a secret place.  Leprechauns are usually depicted as mischievous and cunning—outwitting those who capture them.  For St. Patrick’s Day, they are represent good luck and the treasure they have is a pot of gold.

We all probably know men and boys who are mischievous.  They seem to have a twinkle in their eye and love to play pranks on us.  These earthly leprechauns seem to live life to the fullest and enjoy the relationships that they have with everyone.  They are good-hearted in nature and would do anything for you.  All these leprechauns want to do is to bring a smile to your face.  Why not bring a smile to their face with giving them statutes of leprechauns?

What about those people who seem to have the “luck of the Irish”?  It seems that everything they get involved with both personally and professionally seem to turn out good.  These leprechauns have many blessings—like good friends, a good job, or perhaps wonderful children.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful to give them something to reflect how blessed they are?
